Whale Watching Sidney BC

Whale Watching in Sidney BC is an ideal get-away for whale watching excursions and for exploring the magical Gulf Islands. The resident killer whale's traveling routes are very close and the sea is usually sheltered and smooth. The islands, beaches and mountains provide spectacular scenery and are host to a variety of marine mammals, sea birds and floral and fauna.

Prior to your whale watching departure from Sidney BC, we will provide you with a floater suit that will keep you warm and cozy. Before boarding, your personal belongings will be stored inside the bench seats for their safekeeping. Seating is arranged accordingly with adventurous in the bow(front) and family's and photographers in mind for the large aft deck which was designed to allow more room and the ability to move around. From there we will venture off into one of British Columbia's finest display of natural beauty for whale watching, the magical Gulf Islands and abroad. During our voyage we'll make stops to view pristine islands, beaches and bays that are host to seals, sea lions, otters, bald eagles and many species of bird colonies. 3-4 hours will go by quickly so remember to bring your camera.

When planning your whale watching tour, try and book it towards the beginning of your stay so we can work around weather and whales if necessary.

Feel free to pack a small knapsack with any food or beverages for your trip. We have stowage underneath the bench seats. Depending on the day, it’s always good to bring a couple of layers of clothing with you. I recommend sneakers for the boat. For wet days some sort of waterproofing is recommended for your electronic equipment. Our boat has a private toilet on board with all the comforts of home !
